Auberge Homachi Mikuniminato respects the privacy of our customers, complies with laws and regulations regarding the handling of personal information, and uses personal information with the utmost care.

In order to facilitate the smooth running of our business, we obtain and use information such as customer names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses. We recognize that the proper protection of such customer personal information (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") is an important responsibility, and in order to fulfill this responsibility, we handle personal information under the following policy.

(1) We will comply with the Personal Information Protection Act and other related laws and regulations that apply to personal information, and will handle personal information appropriately in accordance with generally accepted practices regarding the handling of personal information. Furthermore, we will strive to improve our handling practices as appropriate.

(2) We will clarify the rules regarding the handling of personal information and thoroughly inform all employees of the rules. We will also request that business partners handle personal information appropriately.

(3) When acquiring personal information, we will specify the purpose of use, notify or publicize it, and handle the personal information in accordance with that purpose.

(4) In order to prevent the leakage, loss, falsification, etc. of personal information, we will take necessary measures and manage it appropriately.

(5) Regarding personal information held by the Company, we will accept requests from customers regarding disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use at the designated desk and respond in good faith.

Specifically, we handle personal information in accordance with the following:

In connection with operating our hotel business and membership organization, we will obtain personal information necessary for the conduct of our business. This personal information will be used for the following purposes.

To operate the reservation function, provide accommodation services, respond to opinions received in surveys, respond to inquiries, when it becomes necessary for the Company to contact customers for its own reasons, and for other uses related to the provision of the Company's services in general

We will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties, except when providing it to business partners within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use described in "2. Purposes of Use, etc.", or in any of the following cases:

(1) When the customer has given their consent

(2) When disclosing or providing statistical data or other data in a form that does not allow the identification of the individual

(3) When required to disclose or provide information by law

(4) When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent; when it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government entity in carrying out public affairs, and obtaining the customer's consent would be likely to impede the performance of those affairs.

If a customer requests disclosure of their own information regarding personal data held by our company, we will respond within a reasonable period and scope after verifying that the requester is the customer in question.

If a customer wishes to correct, add to, or delete their own information regarding personal data held by our company, we will first verify that the person making the request is the customer himself/herself, and if the information is not factual, we will correct, add to, or delete the information within a reasonable period of time and to a reasonable extent.

If a customer requests that the personal data held by our company be suspended or deleted, we will suspend or delete the data within a reasonable period of time and to a reasonable extent after verifying that the requester is the customer himself/herself.
If the use of this information is suspended or deleted in whole or in part, we may unfortunately no longer be able to provide the services you have requested, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation. (Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to suspend the use or delete information that we are holding pursuant to laws and regulations.)

The above requests under 4, 5 and 6 regarding personal data held by our company and other inquiries regarding personal information will be accepted in the following manner.
Please note that we may not be able to respond to requests for disclosure, etc. that are not made through this method of receipt.

We will inform you of the details of the reception procedure when you make a request, but after confirming your identity (or that of your representative) through the contact point and method below, we will respond by issuing a written response or by other means. Depending on the content of your request, you may be required to submit an application form specified by our company.

(2) Fees If we respond to your request for disclosure, etc. by providing you with a written document, you will be required to pay a fee of 500 yen per response, which may be paid in cash or by other means.

We strive to continually improve how we protect and handle personal information. We may revise this privacy policy as necessary.

Article 1

1. All accommodation and related contracts concluded by our hotel shall be subject to the provisions of this contract. Any matters not provided for in this contract shall be

2. In the event that the Hotel has entered into a special contract with the Guest insofar as this does not violate laws, regulations and generally accepted practices, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the special contract shall take precedence.

Article 2

1. A Person who intends to apply for an Accommodation Contract with the Hotel shall provide the Hotel with the following particulars:

(1) Name of guest

(2) Date of stay and expected time of arrival

(3) Name of the applicant and their contact details, and name and contact details of the person paying the accommodation fee

(4) Any other matter deemed necessary by the Hotel.

2. If a Guest requests, during his/her stay, to extend his/her stay beyond the date specified in Paragraph (2) of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall regard such request as an application for a new Accommodation Contract at the time such request is made.

Article 3

1. An Accommodation Contract shall be concluded when the Hotel accepts the application as stipulated in the preceding Article.
However, this does not apply if the hotel proves that its consent was not given.

2. When an Accommodation Contract has been concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, an application fee set by the Hotel within the limit of the basic accommodation charges for the accommodation period shall be paid by the date designated by the Hotel.

3. The application fee shall first be applied to the accommodation fee finally payable by the Guest, and in the event of the occurrence of a situation which is subject to the provisions of Articles 6, 18 and 19, it shall be applied to the cancellation fee, then to compensation, and the remainder, if any, shall be returned.

4. If the application fee stipulated in Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel as stipulated in the same Paragraph, the Accommodation Contract will become void.

Article 4

1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, our Hotel may enter into a special contract requiring no accommodation deposit after the Contract has been concluded.

2. If the Hotel has not requested the payment of the application fee as stipulated in Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article and/or has not specified the due date for the payment of the application fee when accepting an application for an Accommodation Contract, it will be treated as if the Hotel has accepted a special contract as stipulated in the preceding Paragraph.

Article 5

The Hotel may refuse to enter into an Accommodation Contract under any of the following cases:

(1) When an application for accommodation does not conform to these terms and conditions.

(2) When the Hotel is fully booked and no guest rooms are available.

(3) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, malfunction of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.

(4) When the person seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct himself/herself in a manner that will violate the laws, public order or good morals in regard to his/her accommodation.

(5) When the person seeking accommodation is a member of an organized crime group designated under the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991), a member of such group, or a related party, or other anti-social forces (hereinafter referred to as "Organized Crime Groups, etc.").

(6) When the person seeking accommodation is a corporation or other organization or a member thereof whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or similar.

(7) When the person seeking accommodation is a corporate body or a member thereof which has an officer that is a member of an organized crime group, etc.

(8) When a person seeking accommodation behaves in a manner that causes significant nuisance to other guests.

(9) When a person seeking accommodation is deemed to have engaged in violence, threats, extortion or intimidating unreasonable demands against the facility or facility staff, or to have assumed an unreasonable burden, or to have engaged in similar behavior in the past.

(10) When the person seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying an infectious disease.

(11) When the Hotel is asked to assume an unreasonable burden in connection with its accommodation.

(12) When the person requesting accommodation is found to be excessively unclean in his/her body, clothing, etc. and is likely to cause inconvenience to other guests.

(13) When it is deemed that there is a risk of causing inconvenience to other guests due to drunkenness or other violent behavior.

(14) When other provisions of prefectural ordinances, etc. apply.

Article 6

1. The Guest may cancel the Accommodation Contract by notifying the Hotel.

2. If the Guest cancels the Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to reasons for which the Guest is liable, the Hotel will charge a cancellation fee as specified in Attached Table 2.

3. If the Guest does not arrive two hours after the scheduled arrival time (or the time specified by the Hotel in the case of a reservation where the expected arrival time is not specified) without any notice to the Hotel, the Hotel may regard the Accommodation Contract as having been cancelled by the Guest.

Article 7

1. The Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract under any of the following circumstances:

(1) When the Guest falls under any of the items 3 to 14 of Article 5.

(2) When the Guest smokes in bed, tampers with fire-fighting equipment, or violates other regulations of the Hotel.

(3) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to a natural disaster or other force majeure.

2. When the Hotel cancels the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, it shall not charge the Guest any fees for any accommodation services etc. which he has not yet received.

Article 8

1. The Guest will be required to register the following particulars at the front desk upon arrival at the Hotel on the day of accommodation:

(1) Name, address, and contact details of the guest

(2) For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry

(3) Departure date and scheduled departure time

(4) Any other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.

2. If the Guest intends to pay the charges stipulated in Article 12 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as accommodation coupons or credit card, these shall be presented in advance at the time of registration stipulated in the preceding paragraph.

Article 9

1. The time during which a Guest may occupy a guest room of our Hotel shall be from the check-in time to the check-out time specified by our Hotel. However, in the case of consecutive stays, the Guest may occupy the guest room all day, except on the days of arrival and departure.

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may permit the Guest to occupy the room outside the hours specified in the same paragraph. In such case, an additional fee as specified by the Hotel shall be charged.

3. Even during the hours during which the Guest is entitled to occupy the guest room pursuant to the preceding two Paragraphs, the Hotel reserves the right to enter the guest room and take any necessary measures for the purposes of safety and sanitation management.

Article 10

Guests are required to observe the Hotel Usage Regulations established by the Hotel and posted within the building.

Article 11

1. The opening hours of our hotel facilities will be announced via information desks in the guest rooms, etc.

2. The hours set out in the preceding paragraph may be subject to temporary change due to unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you by appropriate means.

Article 12

1. The breakdown of the accommodation fees, etc. to be paid by the Guest shall be as set forth in Attached Table 1.

2. Payment of the accommodation fees, etc. as stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall be made at the front desk by Japanese currency, accommodation coupons, credit cards, etc. accepted by the Hotel at the time of check-in, when applying for an extension of your stay, or when requested by the Hotel.

3. Accommodation fees will be charged even if the Guest voluntarily does not utilize the guest room after the Hotel has provided it to the Guest and made it available for use.

4. In the case of an accommodation plan in which breakfast, lunch and dinner or additional services are included, the Guest will be charged for those services even if he or she chooses not to eat or use them.

Article 13

The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for damages caused to the Guest in the fulfillment or nonfulfillment of the Accommodation Contract and/or related agreements, unless such damages have been caused by reasons beyond the Hotel's control.

Article 14

1. When the Hotel is unable to provide the Guest with contracted rooms due to reasons beyond the Hotel's control, except in cases of natural disasters or other difficult reasons, the Hotel will, wherever possible, arrange accommodation of similar conditions elsewhere for the Guest with the Guest's consent.

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if the Hotel is unable to arrange alternative accommodations for the Guest, the Hotel shall pay a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation fee, which shall be applied to the amount of damages. However, if the Hotel is unable to provide a room due to reasons beyond the control of the Hotel, the Hotel shall not pay the compensation fee.

Article 15

1. When loss, breakage or other damage occurs to goods, cash or valuables deposited at the front desk by the guest, the hotel shall compensate for such damage, except in cases where such loss or damage is due to acts of God. However, in the case of cash and valuables, if the guest has not clearly stated the type and value of the items, the hotel shall compensate for such damage up to a maximum of 100,000 yen.

2. The Hotel shall not be liable for any loss, breakage or other damage caused to any goods, cash or valuables brought into the Hotel by the Guest, unless such loss or damage is caused by the Hotel’s intention or gross negligence.

Article 16

1. When the baggage of the Guest is brought into the Hotel prior to his/her stay, the Hotel shall be responsible for storing it only when such request has been approved in advance of the Guest's arrival and shall hand it over to the Guest at the front desk at the time of his/her check-in.

2. If the Guest's baggage or belongings are left behind at the Hotel after check-out, the Hotel will handle the matter in accordance with the Lost Property Act.

3. The liability of the Hotel regarding the custody of the Guest's baggage and belongings in the cases of the preceding two Paragraphs shall be in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article in the case of Paragraph 1, and with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the same Article in the case of Paragraph 2.

Article 17

When a guest uses the hotel's parking lot, regardless of whether the key to the vehicle has been deposited with the hotel, the hotel is merely lending the space and is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. However, if the hotel causes damage through intentional or negligent acts on the part of the hotel in managing the parking lot, the hotel will be liable for compensation.

Article 18

1. When the Hotel suffers damage caused through the Guest's intention or negligence, the Guest will compensate the Hotel for such damage.

2. In the event of any disputes or damages between guests, the parties concerned shall settle the dispute and make compensation for the damages between themselves.

Article 19

Customers shall be responsible for the use of communications such as the Internet and e-mails from within the Hotel using computers, mobile phones, etc. The Hotel shall not bear any responsibility for any damages suffered by users as a result of system failure, radio interference, power outages, or other reasons while using such communications. Furthermore, if damages are caused to the Hotel or a third party by actions that the Hotel judges to be inappropriate before or after the fact while using such communications, the customer shall compensate for such damages.

Article 20

This agreement has been prepared in both Japanese and English; however, in the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Article 21

Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Accommodation Contract based on these terms and conditions and any related agreements shall be settled exclusively in a Japanese court having jurisdiction over the location of the Hotel in accordance with Japanese law.

1. Basic accommodation fees are based on the price list published on the Hotel’s website.
2. At our hotel, children are charged the same as adults, but there is no charge for children of elementary school age or younger who do not receive bedding or meals. However, child and infant rates may be set depending on the season and accommodation plan.
In this case, we will notify you by appropriate means.

1. The percentage is the ratio of the cancellation fee to the basic accommodation fee.
2. In the event of partial changes to a group booking (5 or more rooms), such as a shortened number of contracted days or a reduction in the number of rooms, a cancellation fee for all days and rooms that fall under Schedule 2 will be charged.
3. In the event that a contract for a group of 5 or more rooms is partially terminated, if the termination occurs 10 days prior to the stay (or the day of acceptance if the application is accepted after that day), and occurs within 10% of the number of rooms (rounded up to the nearest whole number), no cancellation fee will be charged.
4. If there are special provisions for each accommodation contract, we will comply with those provisions.
