This traditional summer event held at Hikawa Shrine (Kitahonmachi-cho, Mikuni-cho) will be held again this year.

The plaque on the large torii gate in front of Hikawa Shrine reads "Hikawa Shrine" and was written by Katsu Kaishu.

It is a shrine where you can feel the history of Minatomachi.
The parishioners are called "Tenno-san," and local people carry the mikoshi (portable shrine) to liven up the festival.
